Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You are scheduled for elective knee arthroscopy (keyhole surgery) under general anesthesia.
  • Your weight is above 50 kg and your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 30.
  • You are generally healthy or have well-controlled medical conditions (ASA class I to III).
  • You have no history of knee surgery or recent knee trauma.
  • You do not have certain sleep disorders (like restless legs or sleep apnea), or use sleep aids regularly.
  • Your sleep quality is not already severely poor (based on a standard sleep questionnaire).
