Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You have been diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer that is 'HER2-addicted' (waiting for your doctor to confirm).
- Your tumor is between 0.4 and 2 inches (1-5 cm) across.
- Your cancer has not spread to other parts of the body, but may have spread to nearby lymph nodes.
- You are healthy enough to carry out daily activities (ECOG 0 or 1).
- You are willing to have a biopsy before and during the study.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
