Who can take part

  • You have a spinal cord injury at or above the T12 level (mid-back) and it's been more than one year since your injury or condition started.
  • You can walk or use a manual wheelchair (not a power wheelchair).
  • You can put on and take off the electrode pads yourself, or a family member or caregiver can help.
  • Your doctor has given you the ok to do high-intensity interval training (vigorous bursts of exercise).
  • You can attend about 8 assessment and 3 education sessions at the Lyndhurst Centre or Rumsey Cardiac Rehab, and do 36 home exercise sessions online.
