Understanding airway proteins in asthma

Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with asthma.
  • You do not have other lung diseases like COPD.
  • You are not a current smoker and have not smoked more than 10 pack-years (e.g., one pack a day for 10 years).
  • You do not have an active infection, cancer, or tuberculosis.
  • You have not taken antibiotics in the last 4 weeks.
  • You do not use home oxygen therapy for more than 15 hours a day.
  • You are not being treated with biologic therapies (like Xolair, Nucala, Dupixent, or Tezspire).
  • You are not pregnant.
