Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have a type of nasopharyngeal cancer called non-keratinizing carcinoma (WHO type II or III).
  • Your cancer is stage II (T1-3N2M0 or T3N0-1M0) according to the AJCC/UICC 9th edition staging system.
  • You have a good performance status (KPS score of 70 or higher).
  • Your blood counts (white cells, platelets, hemoglobin) are within normal limits.
  • After three cycles of chemoimmunotherapy, your tumor has completely or partially disappeared on scans.
  • After induction chemotherapy, the level of EBV DNA in your blood is undetectable or zero.
  • Your liver and kidney function tests are within acceptable limits.
