This study tests an investigational treatment to improve outcomes after a recent non-penetrating traumatic brain injury (like a fall or car crash). It uses early CT/MRI imaging and a blood test soon after injury to see who benefits and how well the treatment works.
This trial tests giving a simple salt solution (sodium lactate) to people with severe traumatic brain injury. The goal is to see if it can reduce swelling and improve recovery.
This study is looking at people with traumatic brain injuries to improve how they are treated. If you join, you will get an MRI and other tests within the first two days after your injury, and the researchers will track your recovery over time.
This trial tests a steroid medicine called methylprednisolone to see if it can help people who have had a moderate to severe brain injury. It aims to reduce swelling in the brain and possibly improve recovery.
This study tests a drug called cyclosporine to see if it can help people with moderate to severe traumatic brain injury. You may be eligible if you have a brain injury seen on CT and can start treatment within 24 hours.
This trial tests whether giving steroids can reduce brain swelling after a mild or moderate head injury. If you or a loved one had a brain injury within the last few days and the CT scan shows bruising, this study may offer extra treatment to help control swelling.
