Bendamustine to prevent transplant immune complications
This early-phase study tests whether giving the drug bendamustine (with or without another chemo drug) can lower the risk of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) after a stem cell transplant. GVHD is an immune reaction where the donor’s cells attack your body. If it works and is safe, it could improve outcomes after transplant.
