Prevent new immune reaction after islet transplant failure

Who can take part

  • Age 18 to 70 years
  • Can sign consent and follow the study plan reliably
  • You have had at least one islet transplant that has since fully failed
  • You are using immune-suppressing medicine (or will stop/adjust it as the study directs)
  • A blood test shows stimulated C-peptide below 0.3 ng/mL
  • You do not have certain major exclusions like uncontrolled heart/liver disease, active infections, or pregnancy
