Who can take part
- You are between 30 and 85 years old.
- You must be able to have the study’s imaging tests safely (no imaging contraindications).
- You must be able to follow the study plan and complete all required visits/tests.
- If you had symptoms: your MRI must show a recent stroke area (acute infarct) plus narrowed brain arteries (≥60%) and “MES” detected on a special ultrasound (TCD).
- If you have no symptoms: you must have ≥60% narrowing in a brain artery but no stroke spots on MRI (no infarct on DWI/T2) and no MES on TCD.
