Who can take part
- You have certain blood cancers where a donor stem cell transplant is planned (AML, CML, MDS, or ALL).
- You are 19–65 years old.
- Your body can handle treatment: heart, lung, kidney, and liver test results must meet study thresholds.
- Your overall strength is good (Karnofsky or Lansky score of 80 or higher).
- Before treatment, a donor antibody test must be negative within 28 days of starting the transplant regimen.
- Within 48 hours of the cell infusion, you must have no uncontrolled infection, no major unstable heart/breathing/kidney/liver problems, no new severe graft-versus-host disease, and your neutrophils must have started to “engraft” (come back).
