Who can take part
- Be 18 to 41 years old (or a healthy volunteer 18 to 40).
- If you have POI: you have missed periods (amenorrhea) and blood tests show high FSH (more than 25) on two checks a few weeks apart.
- If you have POI: do not be using hormone treatment that affects the brain–ovary hormone signals for at least 1 month before joining.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You should not take medicines known to lengthen QT or affect the heart’s electrical recovery time (including ongoing QT-affecting treatments).
- Avoid if you have a heart rhythm problem history, diabetes, or severe kidney problems.
