Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older, or 12 to 17 with certain cancers
  • Your cancer has spread or returned and cannot be removed by surgery
  • You have tried at least one standard chemotherapy and it did not work, or no standard treatment is available
  • You are well enough to care for yourself (Karnofsky or Lansky score of 70% or higher)
  • Your blood counts, liver, kidney, and heart function are within acceptable ranges
  • You can swallow capsules and are willing to have a biopsy if required
