Who can take part
- You are age 25 or older and generally healthy enough to join a research study.
- You have diagnosed periodontitis with a deep gum pocket (at least 6 mm between teeth), bleeding, and bone/support loss of at least 6 mm, plus a bone defect of at least 3 mm in the selected area.
- Your recent gum health scores are low: full-mouth bleeding and plaque are both under 25% (measured within the last 6 weeks).
- You finished non-surgical gum treatment within the last 6 months before the eligibility check.
- You have not had gum surgery in the selected area within the last 12 months.
- You have not used certain medicines or exposures recently (no antibiotics/anti-inflammatories in the past month, no long-term use of blood thinners or steroid medicines that affect bone formation).
