This study tests whether a brain stimulation method (“cortical priming”) can improve walking after a stroke. It may help people with ongoing walking problems improve gait and leg control over a rehabilitation program.

Who can take part
- Be an adult older than 18
- Have had a first stroke affecting only one side of the brain, more than 3 months ago
- Still have walking problems on that same side (abnormal/weak or awkward gait)
- Be able to walk for 5 minutes at your own pace, using a cane/handheld support if needed
- Your usual walking speed must be slower than 1.2 meters per second
- Have moderate leg weakness on testing (lower-limb Fugl-Meyer Motor score between 15 and 30)
