Who can take part

  • Be an adult older than 18
  • Have had a first stroke affecting only one side of the brain, more than 3 months ago
  • Still have walking problems on that same side (abnormal/weak or awkward gait)
  • Be able to walk for 5 minutes at your own pace, using a cane/handheld support if needed
  • Your usual walking speed must be slower than 1.2 meters per second
  • Have moderate leg weakness on testing (lower-limb Fugl-Meyer Motor score between 15 and 30)
