Walking and thinking training with brain stimulation for stroke recovery

Who can take part

  • Had a stroke more than 6 months ago
  • Age 50 or older
  • Can follow instructions and communicate
  • Score at least 22 on a thinking and memory test (Montreal Cognitive Assessment)
  • Can walk 10 meters with or without a cane or walker
  • Live at home (not in a nursing facility) and stroke affected only one side of the brain
