  • You have autonomic failure (your body has trouble controlling automatic functions like blood pressure).
  • Your blood pressure is high when you are lying down (supine hypertension).
  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You are not in the excluded group of medical students.
  • You are not pregnant, and you do not have major medical conditions that make the trial higher-risk (like heart failure, past heart attack/stroke, major coronary artery disease, or significant liver problems).
