Who can take part

  • You’re 18 to 100 years old
  • Your blood test (BNP or NT-proBNP) was high when you were admitted
  • Your heart pumping strength (ejection fraction) is 50% or lower, with heart failure symptoms that are NYHA class II, III, or IV
  • You have NOT taken an SGLT2 inhibitor like dapagliflozin in the last 3 months, and you’ve never had a bad reaction to this medicine group
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
