Who can take part

  • You currently have moderate or worse psychosis symptoms (rated at least 4) such as unusual thoughts, suspiciousness, odd behavior, or disorganized thinking
  • You have tried at least one antipsychotic medicine for 6 weeks and it did not work well enough
  • You can understand the study and are willing to sign consent
  • If you are able to get pregnant: you have a negative pregnancy test and agree to reliable birth control
  • You have a diagnosis of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or schizophreniform disorder (DSM-IV)
