Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older
  • Your cancer diagnosis was confirmed by a biopsy as squamous cell carcinoma in the oropharynx
  • Your cancer stage is T3 or T4, and lymph nodes are N0 to N3
  • You are well enough for treatment (ECOG 0 to 2)
  • You must be able to sign consent and complete follow-up after radiation
  • If you can become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test
