This trial tests CPX-351 to help stop acute myeloid leukemia (AML) from coming back after you’ve reached remission. It’s for people who are not able to receive a stem cell transplant and need a new way to reduce relapse risk.

Who can take part

  • You’re over 18 and have AML that is new or “secondary” (not the special APL type called M3).
  • Your leukemia is currently in remission (complete remission, CR, or CR with partial blood count recovery, CRh).
  • You finished standard initial treatment and then consolidation or a hypomethylating medicine plus venetoclax, within certain cycle limits.
  • You can start treatment within 3 months after your most recent documented remission.
  • You cannot get an allogeneic (donor) stem cell transplant for any reason.
  • Your heart, liver, and kidney tests are within limits, and you’re well enough day-to-day (ECOG 0–3).
