Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and can sign an informed consent form.
  • You have lung adenocarcinoma confirmed by lab tests within the last 60 days.
  • Your cancer has an EGFR mutation of the type Ex19del or L858R (confirmed by a specific test called ARMS).
  • Your cancer stage is IIA, IIB, IIIA, or IIIB and it is considered resectable (able to be removed with surgery).
  • You can have repeat measurements on imaging (there is at least one measurable spot on CT).
  • Your general health is good enough (ECOG 0–1), your blood counts and liver/kidney tests are adequate, and your heart/lung function supports surgery.
