Freezing the obturator nerve for tight hip muscles

Who can take part

  • You will be getting cryoneurotomy as part of your usual spasticity care at the VGH spasticity clinic
  • You are at least 12 years old on the day of the procedure
  • You can come to study visits, follow the testing instructions, and sign consent
  • You can complete questionnaires in English or have an interpreter approved by the study team
  • You have not had prior procedures on the obturator nerve (like cryoneurotomy, alcohol nerve treatment, or nerve surgery)
