Who can take part

  • Be age 18 or older
  • Have an unclear spine tumor (indeterminate spine metastasis) that can be seen on CT or MRI
  • Have a cancer treatment plan that includes stereotactic (high-precision) radiation
  • Be able to have the radiation planning scan (CT or MRI, or CT myelogram) needed to map the targets
  • Have no more than four spinal levels or separate target spots to treat
  • Be well enough for study visits (ECOG 0 to 2) and complete quality-of-life questionnaires in English or Spanish if you choose
