Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are in a coma (Glasgow Coma Scale 8 or lower) and cannot follow commands right after the heart stopped and before sedation.
- You remain unconscious even after being off sedation for at least 72 hours (3 days) and your body temperature is normal.
- You need to have a family member or legal representative sign a consent form.
- You must be covered by the French national health system (social security).
- You cannot have any reason that would make an MRI unsafe or not possible (like a pacemaker, severe claustrophobia, or severe kidney failure).
