Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 70 years old, and you can be any sex
  • You have obesity (BMI 30 or higher) OR abdominal fat (waist over 94 cm for men, over 80 cm for women)
  • You have fatty liver confirmed by FibroScan (CAP over 238 dB/m), plus other liver risk scores if needed
  • You are not pregnant and not breastfeeding
  • You are not taking treatments/devices (or other therapies) that could change gut leakiness or liver fat
  • You do not have other conditions that could also explain changes in gut leakiness or fatty liver
