Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 40 or higher, or BMI 35–39.9 plus high-risk conditions.
- You have a positive mental health screening (psychiatric evaluation).
- You do not have ongoing or heavy drug use, including alcohol use.
- You do not have hepatitis, active cancer, serious infections, severe illness, terminal illness, or strong inflammation now.
