  • You are between 18 and 75 years old (inclusive).
  • You have a recent traumatic brain injury with a specific level of consciousness on the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS).
  • Brain imaging shows mainly diffuse injury (not mostly one large trapped blood area).
  • You are not planned for urgent neurosurgery right away.
  • You do not have major heart or lung problems that could make inhaled nitric oxide unsafe.
