Who can take part
- You have confirmed stage III colon cancer (based on biopsy/pathology results).
- You are starting a modified FOLFOX-6 chemotherapy plan that includes oxaliplatin.
- You are 18 years or older and can receive chemotherapy (no major chemotherapy reasons to avoid it).
- Your blood counts, kidney function, and liver function are in acceptable ranges (as defined by the study).
- You have good activity level (ECOG performance status 0 to 1).
- You do NOT have certain nerve problems or risk factors, and you are not taking certain medicines that could interfere.
