Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • Your doctor says you need drainage because of one of these: brain bleeding in the ventricles or around the brain, chronic subdural bleeding, or ventriculitis (brain infection)
  • Your treating team believes you still need active treatment for that condition
  • You (or a legally authorized representative) can sign consent to join the study
  • Your pupils are not fixed and dilated (your doctor will check this)
