Finding the Best Way to Remove Brain Drain Tubes

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You were admitted to intensive care within the last 3 days with a non-traumatic brain bleed (subarachnoid hemorrhage)
  • An external ventricular drain was placed in your brain within the last 3 days to manage fluid or pressure
  • You or a family member can provide informed consent, or you qualify for emergency enrollment
  • You have health insurance or are eligible for social security benefits
