Who can take part

  • You have nasopharyngeal cancer that is non-keratinizing (WHO type II or III), confirmed by a biopsy
  • You are 18 to 70 years old
  • Your cancer is stage III to IVA
  • Your blood EBV DNA was detectable before treatment, but becomes undetectable after one cycle of “neoadjuvant” chemotherapy and stays undetectable during cycles 2 and 3
  • You are generally well enough for study treatment (ECOG 0–1) and your blood counts, liver, and kidney tests are within required ranges
