Who can take part
- You have lung or breast cancer, and a doctor confirmed at least one brain metastasis in tissue samples
- You have only one brain metastasis, measuring no more than 3 cm across, shown on MRI
- Surgery must have fully removed the metastasis, and a recent MRI (within 14 days) confirms this
- Your removed brain-tumor tissue must show the STAT3 signal in certain brain cells called reactive astrocytes
- You must be able to recover from surgery (no ongoing wound issues or serious post-op infection) before joining
- Your blood counts and organs (kidneys, liver, heart) must be in acceptable range, and you must be able to have MRI with contrast
