  • You have acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and will start anthracycline-containing chemotherapy
  • You’re between 18 and 65 years old
  • Your heart ultrasound shows pumping strength (left ventricular ejection fraction) above 50% before chemo
  • You have no current signs of heart failure
  • You can understand and sign consent to take part in the study
