Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • Your AML has either come back (relapsed), not responded (refractory), or you have MDS-EB-2 with excess blasts after at least 4 cycles of a hypomethylating drug (like azacitidine or decitabine).
  • You can do daily activities at about a moderate level (ECOG 0–2).
  • Your kidneys, liver, and bone marrow-related labs are within allowed limits (including creatinine clearance of at least 30).
  • If you have HIV or hepatitis B or C, you must be on treatment and have an undetectable viral load (unless your doctor confirms special eligibility).
  • You are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding, and you can follow birth-control rules during and after treatment.
