Testing early EIT monitoring in people with ARDS

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have ARDS based on the study’s 2012 definition.
  • You started invasive breathing support (an endotracheal breathing tube) less than 36 hours ago.
  • Your current oxygen level is low (PaO2/FiO2 less than 150).
  • You can safely be placed in the prone position (lying on your stomach) if needed.
