Who can take part
- You need an allogeneic stem cell transplant for AML, ALL, SMD, SMP, or a lymphoid blood cancer/lymphoma
- You currently have little or no response remaining that qualifies you for transplant, such as being in complete response for AML/ALL or in complete/partial response (or not previously treated) for SMD/SMP and lymphoid cancers
- You do NOT have an HLA-matched related donor (like a brother or sibling match), but you do have a half-matched (haploidentical) family donor available
- You can do transplant-level treatment safely: performance status ECOG 2 or less and no severe, uncontrolled infections
- Your organs must be able to handle chemotherapy used in transplant (kidney, liver, and heart function within required limits for the study)
