Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and have NMOSD with a positive blood test for anti-AQP4 antibodies (AQP4-IgG).
  • Your symptoms started or worsened within the last 30 days and have lasted at least 24 hours (this counts as an acute attack).
  • You are planning to receive, or are already receiving, intravenous methylprednisolone (a steroid given through a vein).
  • Your disability score (EDSS) is between 2.5 and 8 during screening.
  • You can sign written consent, and if you can become pregnant, you will use reliable birth control during the study.
