Who can take part

  • You are an adult age 18 or older
  • You were admitted to the ICU within the last 48 hours
  • You are on a breathing machine and doctors expect this for at least 72 hours
  • You can receive nutrition through a feeding tube (enteral nutrition is possible)
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or lower
