Who can take part

  • You have heart failure with heart pumping strength (ejection fraction) between 20% and 45%.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is higher than 27.5.
  • You can safely have an MRI scan (no MRI contraindications).
  • Your symptoms from heart failure are not in the most severe stage (not NYHA class IV).
  • You are not pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
