Who can take part

  • You had a stroke that was diagnosed by CT or MRI, and you are past the early recovery stage
  • Your stroke was your first one on one side of the brain, and it happened 6 months to 1 year ago
  • You have one-sided arm or leg weakness that affects walking, and you can walk at least 10 meters with help
  • You are right-handed and scored between 2 and 20 on the NIHSS (with moderate weakness), and your strength is between grades 1 and 4
  • You can do 2 study visits (screening and baseline) and can cooperate with tests and follow-up
  • You do not have conditions that prevent stimulation, like an implanted pacemaker/defibrillator or other electrical-sensitive implants
