Who can take part
- You have aortic stenosis (a narrowed heart valve) or a milder form like aortic sclerosis, diagnosed within the last 3 months.
- If you don't have aortic stenosis, you can join as a healthy control.
- You have not taken antibiotics, steroids, or certain antidepressants in the last 3 months.
- You have not had your gallbladder removed and do not have liver disease or inflammatory bowel disease.
- You are able to fast (not eat) before a blood test.
