Who can take part
- You must be between 16 and 60 years old.
- Your leukemia must have come back or not responded to 1 or 2 prior treatments.
- If you had a stem cell transplant, you must not be on active treatment for graft-versus-host disease.
- You must not have tried bortezomib before.
- Your heart, liver, and kidneys must be working well enough (based on blood tests and heart function).
