Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have thyroid cancer that has spread to lymph nodes on the side of your neck, found by exam, imaging, or during surgery.
  • A needle biopsy has confirmed or strongly suggests cancer in those lymph nodes (based on Bethesda criteria).
  • Your surgeon recommends removing these lymph nodes due to suspected or confirmed spread.
  • You may or may not need removal of the thyroid gland or central neck lymph nodes at the same time.
