Who can take part
- Your cancer must be HPV-positive (p16+) and located in the oropharynx (back of the throat) or from an unknown primary that is p16+.
- Your cancer stage must be T0-3, N0-N1, M0 (early stage, no spread to distant organs).
- You must have had a blood test that found cancer DNA (ctDNA) before your surgery.
- Based on a tumor board review, you should be a candidate for robotic surgery (TORS).
- Your overall health must be good enough for daily activities (Zubrod score 0-1).
