Who can take part
- You have HPV-related throat cancer in the tonsil or back of the tongue (stage I–III), and not stage IV or N3 disease
- Your HPV status must be confirmed from tumor tissue using p16 (≥70%) and/or a DNA test for high-risk HPV
- You must have a detectable HPV DNA level in your blood before treatment using the NavDx® test
- You plan to be treated with non-surgical therapy (radiation with or without chemotherapy), not surgery as the main treatment
- You must be able to give blood samples and a diagnostic biopsy sample before, during, and after treatment
- You must be 22+ years old and well enough to take treatment (overall function score no more than 2)
