Who can take part
- You or your child must have a diffuse midline glioma (a type of brain tumor in the center of the brain), confirmed by scan or biopsy.
- Age must be between 12 months and 21 years old.
- At least 6 months must have passed since the first course of radiation therapy.
- The tumor must be growing or causing new symptoms, and you should be recovered from any side effects of the first radiation.
- You must be able to care for yourself most of the day (performance score >50%), even if brain tumor symptoms cause some weakness.
- No other cancer treatments that would interfere, and no neurofibromatosis type 1.
