Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with a blood clot in your lung (pulmonary embolism) using a CT scan or a special lung scan.
- Your blood clot is not severe enough to need intensive care or emergency clot removal.
- Your doctor has calculated a risk score (sPESI) of 1 or higher, or a score of 0 with other risk factors like a high troponin level, heart strain, or other health issues requiring hospital stay.
- You can do a chair lift test without needing extra oxygen at the time of the test.
- You have been on blood thinners (anticoagulation) for at least 1 hour.
