- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have current major depression (of at least moderate severity) or you are a healthy volunteer.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you can become pregnant, you use reliable birth control.

- You are willing to stop antidepressants for 2-4 weeks before the study starts.
