Who can take part
- You have heart failure symptoms that make you a bit short of breath with everyday activities (NYHA Class II or III).
- Your heart failure is caused by a past heart attack (not other reasons).
- Your heart's pumping ability, called ejection fraction, is between 20% and 40%.
- You have been on stable heart failure medications and devices (like a pacemaker or defibrillator) for at least 3 months.
- A blood test for NT-proBNP shows a level greater than 500 pg/mL.
- A test of your own bone marrow cells shows they are a good match for the treatment.
