This trial tests whether a special immune cell therapy (brexucabtagene autoleucel, or CAR T therapy) can help people with B-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) after reducing the number of leukemia cells with a chemo-immunotherapy combination. It is for patients whose cancer has returned or is hard to treat, or for those newly diagnosed with a high-risk form of ALL.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have either relapsed/refractory B-cell ALL OR newly diagnosed high-risk B-cell ALL (with specific genetic changes like KMT2A rearranged or Philadelphia-like).
  • Your leukemia cells must have the CD19 protein (more than 50% positive).
  • You are active enough to be out of bed at least half the day (performance status 0-2).
  • You have adequate liver and kidney function, and any chronic infections (like hepatitis or HIV) are under control with treatment.
